The Dialock story

With the access control system Dialock Michael Kohne has solved two problems of hotel keys at once: they will not get lost so easily and will be more thief-proof. Instead of swipe cards he has used small clips which work with wireless impulses. In addition they are waterproof, so the hotel clients can carry them along even in the sauna or the swimming pool. The idea came Michael Kohne, when his swipe card from the hotel room was stolen from the bathrobe while he was sitting in the sauna. The code of the radio locks can not be cracked: There are billions of possible combinations. This makes Dialock also valuable for other areas such as entrance controls in companies or safes. Michael Kohne also made sure that the entry system based of transponder was soon used all over the world, for example, in hotel chains such as Dorint, Ramada and Hyatt.
